The aim and ambition of Brainport 2020 is to be among the top 3 economies of Europe and the top 10 in the world. How are we going to do that? By strengthening and connecting the existing top clusters, and cooperating with all the regional networks, we can continue to play at the top. This is only possible by having a good base and developing new clusters, like smart mobility, energy and care.

With Airport and Seaport, Brainport is one of the three cornerstones of the Dutch economy. Brainport is the axis of a network that spreads across Southeast Netherlands and beyond national borders. Open innovation and international cooperation are a matter of course. The cooperation between industry, knowledge & education and government is an internationally acknowledged tradition.
