From November 10th till November 17th the seventh edition of the Glow lights art festival took place in the center of Eindhoven. This year, the artists let their light shine on the theme 'Faces & Facaded'. Through both spectacular light projections as understated lighting installations, the different faces of the city of Eindhoven reveal themselves.

Dutch Design Week
Every year, during the Dutch Design Week (DDW ), top designers from Eindhoven show why this region is such a fascinating creative industry. More than 1500 designers exhibit their work at 65 different locations in the city. This year (2012) will be the 11the edition of the Dutch Design Week.
Design Academy
The Design Academy in Eindhoven is, according to the American newspaper The New York Times, the best place to study design. Famous designers include Richard Hutten and Piet Hein Eek are alumni of the Design Academy. The graduation show of the Design Academy is every year one of the biggest crowd pullers at the Dutch Design Week.
Blob
Since 2010 the center of Eindhoven is decorated with the teardrop Blob, a Binary Linear Object Building. This striking building was designed by the Italian designer Massimiliano Fuksas.
Van Berlo
Van Berlo is an international design company based in Eindhoven, that has developed over the last 30 years to become one of Europe’s cutting-edge companies in the area of strategy, design and implementation. This includes both product development and engineering as well as brand implementation.
