11th Automotive Congress: (international) cooperation more important than ever (video)
13 June 2017
Two hundred people visited the 11th edition of the Automotive Congress the 7th and 8th of June at the Automotive Campus in Helmond. This 11th edition was bigger than the last ones: a large tent at the Campus made sure that all visitors and exhibitors had space to meet and inspire each other.
Visitors got the opportunity to hear inspirational stories from renowned companies like Valeo, DS Automobiles, TomTom, Schaeffler, HTSM, Mov’eo, NXP Semiconductors and the Fraunhofer Institute. In addition, 33 organizations presented their service and / or product at the exhibition floor.
Extensive program about the challenges in the Automotive industry
The conference was organized by AutomotiveNL, Mikrocentrum and RAI Automotive Industry with Challenges for the Automotive Industry as a central theme. In addition to the plenary sessions and exhibition floor, tours were organized to DAF Trucks N.V. and several parallel sessions were held with topics such as Smart Mobility, Green Mobility, Manufacturing & Logistics and Materials & Design. An important moment during the congress was the official signing of the Partners International Business (PIB) program by 22 organizations with the aim of jointly exploiting the opportunities for Green- and Smart Mobility in France.
Jean Pierre Heijster, Manager of the Automotive Congress, indicated he is very pleased with the help of Mikrocentrum, RAI Automotive Industry and all the sponsors. “Without all these organizations we would not succeed, because in this world where so much is happening in the field of automotive and mobility, cooperation is important. We are looking back on a successful edition, where visitors were informed and involved in the challenges / opportunities within the automotive industry. For many companies a must to be present!”
