Beckhoff opens office in Eindhoven

EINDHOVEN – Yesterday Beckhoff Automation BV opened an office in Eindhoven. Beckhoff’s headquarters are in Germany and the company has offices in sixty countries. The company’s main office in the Netherlands is in Haarlem. Because of the continuous growth of the company and its customers in the south of the Netherlands, the company is now also settling in Brainport Eindhoven.

Beckhoff implements open automation systems based on PC Control technology. The product range covers Industrial PCs, I/O and Fieldbus Components, Drive Technology and automation software. Products that can be used as separate components or integrated into a complete and seamless control system are available for all industries. The Beckhoff “New Automation Technology” philosophy represents universal and open control and automation solutions that are used worldwide in a wide variety of different applications, ranging from CNC-controlled machine tools to intelligent building automation.

Extra support for customers in the south of the Netherlands
The Eindhoven office offers her customers in the south of the Netherlands an additional office for support in sales, training and implementation of IT-systems in the manufacturing industry. Economic development agency of the Brainport Eindhoven region, Brainport Development guided the company in its search for a suitable location and is very pleased to welcome Beckhoff in Eindhoven.

Extra jobs and reinforcement of the smart manufacturing industry

Opening an office in Eindhoven does not only mean extra employment but als reinforcement of our smart manufacturing industry cluster,” says acting director of Brainport Development Joep Brouwers. “That is why in the near future we are going to make sure that Beckhoff gets introduced to and connected with the Eindhoven ecosystem.”

Eindhoven is a logical choice
Erik Reichardt has been appointed as business developer for the new office. The first vacancies have already been posted. Erik Reichardt was appointed to develop the business in Eindhoven. To him settling in Eindhoven is a logical choice. “Beckhoff is a frontrunner in development and innovation of automation systems,” says Reichardt. “This matches with the character of the Brainport Eindhoven region, that is why opening an office in Eindhoven was quite self-evident. Moreover, an important part of our customers are in the south of the Netherlands. Beckhoff Eindhoven makes it possible to realise a better support and closer collaboration.”

First vacancies have been published
The company wants to grow towards five to ten employees within a considerable amount of time. The first vacancies have already been posted. The company among others is looking for application support engineers and technical commercial employees.
