About a thousand people visisted High Tech Capital on May 25, at the Philips Stadium in Eindhoven. Amongst them were startups, scale-ups, bedrijven and investors. Next to the plenary program with speeches by ASML, Shell, Deloitte, Shapeways and Ziggo, there were workshops, lectures and other sessions. The event was opened by the Mayor of Eindhoven, Rob van Gijzel, and closed by the Dutch Prince Constantijn.
Eighteen partners organized parallel sessions for specific audiences, such as a Pitch-off by HighTechXL and lectures on innovation in financing startups by Brainport Network. With High Tech Capital, the partners show that the Brainport region is a feasible location for startups, scale-ups, other businesses, and for investors.
